11 October 2012: Newcastle, NSW, Australia - The Newcastle Knights are pleased to announce a new and expanded sponsorship agreement with the global leading supplier of rental power, Aggreko.
After being a long term corporate box holder and following their naming rights sponsorship of the Newcastle Knights Hall of Fame in 2012, Aggreko have increased their commitment to the Club to become our Official Corporate Hospitality Partner.
This partnership will see Aggreko's brand and services promoted to over 20,000 corporate guests attending Knights home matches in 2013 with branding across all corporate hospitality marketing, tickets and throughout the world class corporate facilities at Hunter Stadium.
"After the fantastic support Aggreko provided to our Hall of Fame launch last year, we are delighted to strengthen the relationship between our two organisations," Knights CEO Matt Gidley said.
"The Hunter represents an important region for Aggreko, who support the mining and utilities markets among others. We are pleased that Aggreko is able to extend that support to the local community Club".

The 2012 season saw the Newcastle Knights secure the highest ticketed membership and third highest average crowds in the NRL plus a national TV audience of over 12 million. As the Club enters the second year of Wayne Bennett's tenure as Head Coach and with the signings of talented players such as Beau Scott, Jeremy Smith and David Fa'alogo the 2013 season promises to be another landmark year in the Hunter.
